Hello Bayview Glen families,
We can hardly believe that the 2017-18 school year is quickly coming to an end! We are so very proud of the many accomplishments this year, in academics, athletics and extra-curricular activities. I would like to thank our families and community volunteers for their tremendous support.
We have to say good-bye to a few of our staff members. We thank them for their dedication and leadership and wish them all the best in the new school year.
We wish all the best to:
Please welcome :
We also will be hiring throughout the summer for September 2018.
As we reflect on our 2017-18 school year, we must comment on the work and dedication of our staff. They are committed to providing excellent educational experiences for our students. On behalf of our staff and community I would like to thank our office staff Ms. Ruth Yeates, and Ms.Fran Iacovetta, who keep the school ticking; and to our custodian staff Mr. Brian Barrett, and Mr. John Somerville who keep the school looking lovely. What great teams!
We must also thank our parent community and the BGPS School Council for the fundraising activities and purchases this year. Your support and involvement in your child’s education is key to their success and we appreciate the continued effort and partnership to enrich the school experience for our students.
Finally, I want to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude for having the opportunity to serve Bayview Glen PS over the past three years. The move to my new school Edward T. Crowle PS in Markham is bittersweet, I will be very close to my home, however it is difficult to say goodbye to the wonderful staff and families here at BGPS.
Please welcome with me, Dr. Malcolm Richmon, the new Principal for September 2018, I am confident that he will continue the many great initiatives we have at our school.
Sincerely,
Robin Cockburn Principal
On behalf of the entire BGPS Staff, we wish you a safe and happy summer holiday!
